Baby Exodus, six months old, arrived with his mother Stella four months ago to Bidi Bidi camp in North Uganda. Baby Exodus had been ill for three days with a cough, vomiting and fever, before he was brought to the EHU (Emergency Health Unit) mobile health clinic. He was diagnosed with malaria and provided with treatment. He was also given routine childhood vaccinations. Stella's parents are still in South Sudan, and her husband was killed, which is when she decided to flee with her four children. She had to leave everything behind.
Stella renamed her baby ‘Exodus’ after their flight. They went first to DRC but the conditions were too bad, so they moved on to Uganda.
